- State v. Mitchell Christen, 2021 WI 39 (Petition for Certiorari Denied) (Superseded by N.Y. State Rifle & Pistol As’n v. Bruen, 142 S.Ct. 2111)
- Mr. Christen argued the statute criminalizing his possession of a firearm while suffering from alcohol intoxication violated the Second Amendment as the statute was not supported by the text, history, or tradition of the Second Amendment. The Wisconsin Supreme Court applied the interest balancing test found in United States v. Marzarella, held the restriction was subject to intermediate scrutiny, and upheld the statute.

- Three of client’s disorderly conduct charges were protected by the First Amendment and summarily dismissed.

- Client’s request for a new attorney was improperly denied, on remand, all counts were vacated and a new trial ordered
- State v. Kevin Washington, Jefferson County 17-CF-300
- Client’s convictions were vacated, and a new trial ordered on the basis of ineffective assistance of counsel
